Privacy
Your data is yours.

What we collect
We store the applications you track (job URL, title, company, status, dates, notes, recruiter contacts), job specs we parse from posting pages, and any ghost reports you submit. We also store the email you sign up with.
What we never do
- We don’t sell your data to employers, recruiters, or third parties.
- We don’t share personally identifying information in community intelligence — ghost rates and same-role statistics are always aggregated.
- We don’t send SARs, emails, or any other messages on your behalf. Every action that leaves your account starts with you.
- We don’t track you across other sites. No ad networks, no third-party analytics pixels.
How we use your data
Your tracked jobs power your personal dashboard and alerts. Aggregate, anonymized signals (company ghost rates, average response times, repost patterns) feed the community intelligence that every The Seekers user benefits from — but only above sample thresholds that protect individual identity.
How to export or delete your data
You can export all your tracked jobs as CSV from the Applications tab. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, email us at hello@theseekers.pro — we process deletion requests within 7 days.
Security
Data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) with userId-scoped access rules. Only you can read your own tracked jobs, alerts, and notes. Community data (ghost reports) is write-once and read-only.
Legal basis (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
We process your data on the basis of contract (to deliver the service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (to improve the product and surface community ghost patterns that benefit all candidates). You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time.
