Using The Seekers
The Seekers is a tool that helps you track your job applications, detect ghost postings, and hold companies accountable. By creating an account, you agree to use it lawfully and in good faith. Don’t use The Seekers to harass, defame, or submit knowingly false community reports.
Community reports
When you submit a ghost report, you’re asserting that the events you describe happened to you. We don’t verify individual reports, but patterns across many reports do surface in the community intelligence. Don’t submit reports for roles you didn’t apply to, and don’t name individual people (HR staff, recruiters) in public-facing descriptions.
SAR templates
The Subject Access Request template The Seekers generates is based on UK GDPR Article 15. It’s a template — not legal advice. We don’t send it for you; you copy and send it from your own email. If a company refuses to respond, you may escalate to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) on your own.
Monitoring limitations
The Seekers’s Sentinel checks posting URLs daily. Some job sites block automated checks — when that happens, we mark the posting as “Unverified” rather than assume it’s ghosted. We do our best to be accurate, but we can’t guarantee the hiring status of any specific posting. You remain responsible for your job search.
Availability and changes
Core application tracking on The Seekers is free for candidates — and it will stay that way. That includes adding jobs, the Sentinel ghost detection, status timelines, alerts, and the SAR template. We may introduce paid add-ons later (advanced analytics, team features, etc.), but the tracking you need to protect your job search will always be free. No credit card will ever be required for the core experience. If pricing changes for optional add-ons, we’ll tell you clearly before it applies.
Ending your account
You can delete your account and data at any time by emailing hello@theseekers.pro. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms (spam, harassment, fraudulent reports).
Liability
The Seekers is provided “as is.” We’re not liable for hiring decisions, missed opportunities, or outcomes of any action you take based on what The Seekers tells you. Use your own judgment, always.
